IIHC is going to organise an webinar on “Historical Relationship between Cairo’s Al Azhar Shareef and Indian Muslim” on 7th April Friday at 5:00 PM IST. The Main Speaker of the webinar is Dr. Mostafa Alaaeldin Mohammad Ali who is on post of Assistant Professor in Faculty of Language and translation.
The webinar will be broadcast on Facebook page of Indo Islamic Heritage Center.
Al-Azhar University, located in Cairo, Egypt, is a renowned center of Islamic learning and has a long history of academic excellence in the fields of Islamic law, theology, and Arabic language studies. Many Indian Muslims have studied at Al-Azhar University over the years, especially during the 19th and early 20th centuries, when it was a major destination for Indian Muslim scholars seeking advanced religious education.
